What We Can Do For You

What We Do and
How We Can Work With You to
Improve Jewish Education In Your Community

The primary goal of the LCC is to share information about “what works” in Jewish education. Through publications, websites, communities of practice, training and consultations we can help your community benefit from what has succeeded elsewhere. We distill what we have learned and collected, synthesized and analyzed, replicated and evaluated and build it into a package that has been tailored especially to meet your local needs and challenges. In short, we put data into action. We can provide assistance with:
  • Decision-making processes
  • Strategic planning
  • Mid-course programming corrections
  • Replication or “scaling up” of programs
  • Goals clarification
  • Change facilitation
  • Building capacity
  • Funding proposals

What The LCC Can Do For You:
  • Enhance lay or professional meetings with PowerPoint presentations and discussions on a variety of topics, trends and updates in Jewish Education (for example: Best Practices in Resource Centers, Professional Development, Educator Recognition, etc.)
  • Facilitate brainstorming and visioning sessions with lay and professional leaders
  • Advise or coach search committees
  • Work with new Central Agency Execs or other personnel through executive coaching
  • Help communities define and implement strategic directions
  • Gather data and information on issues of special interest in your community (for example: Central Agencies, governance, lay leadership, special needs, etc.)
  • Initiate and guide pilot projects in your community that both enrich your community and bring to bear best practices in a given area
  • Plan conferences or facilitate training sessions for professional or lay leaders
