The course is part of an enriched, two-year opportunity including:

Year 1

• The academic course:

1. "The North American Jewish Community and its Continuity Challenge" – Hebrew University
2. “Jewish Education: The Reality and the Vision” – Tel Aviv University

• A half-day internship working in an Israeli educational setting of your choice (Hebrew University only)
• A chance to meet with leading professionals in the North American Jewish educational world
• Fun and enriching extracurricular workshops

Year 2

• Job leads for Summer '11 and in your college community for the Fall & Spring
• Internship support from your supervisor, mentor and JESNA
• A reunion in during the General Assembly (GA) in Denver, Colorado to re-connect with Fellows from both Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University and network with Jewish communal leaders throughout the Jewish community (in November '11 – minimum registration required)!!  Participation will include a pre-conference Shabbaton, access to GA sessions, and programming provided just for Fellows!
• Becoming part of an alumni network of hundreds of young Jewish professionals plus help with grad school selection and job hunting
