GSA Webinar: Innovation
What is educational innovation? What new innovations are on the horizon? How is it relevant to your classroom? This final webinar for the Grinspoon-Steinhardt Awards for Excellence in Jewish Education Community of Practice, addressed these questions. This one-hour long webinar focused on the topic of innovation in education. The guest speaker, Dr. Jonathan Woocher, Chief Ideas Officer and Director of the Lippman-Kanfer Institute at JESNA, spoke about the meaning, history and process of innovation in Jewish education.

GSA Webinar: Inclusion
On November 29, 2010 Grinspoon-Steinhardt Awards winners participated on a webinar discussing inclusion. They looked at the philosophy and goals of inclusion with Dr. Aryeh Davidson of the Jewish Theological Seminary. Dori Frumin Kirshner of Matan then presented the what and how of inclusion for students with special needs. Both presentations were detailed, interesting and informative (see the presenters' bios here, along with their PowerPoint presentations).
