JESNA recently published the Educators in Jewish Schools Study (EJSS), a statistical snapshot of educators in Jewish day and complementary schools in North America. EJSS answers these basic questions about the field:

Who are the educators?
What led them to Jewish education?
Why do they stay in or leave the field?

The EJSS discussion guide was designed to stimulate conversations among key leaders in Central Agencies, Federations, Rabbinic organizations, schools, and congregations about how the EJSS findings apply in local communities and how local challenges can be addressed more effectively.
