Shifra Bronznick is the founding President of Advancing Women Professionals and the Jewish Community (AWP), an initiative that has been selected annually as one of the fifty most innovative and effective Jewish organizations by "Slingshot."  The co-author with Didi Goldenhar and Marty Linsky of the book, "Leveling the Playing Field," she also is the key investigator of Visioning Justice, a research inquiry commissioned by the Nathan Cummings Foundation.  Her work has received special recognition from the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, ("The Catalyst"), and she was selected twice for the Forward newspaper's list of the 50 most influential Jewish leaders.

The leadership strategist to the White House Project virtually since its inception, Shifra designed the programs for their national summits and for "Women Rule," a groundbreaking leadership initiative for women that has been launched in partnership with O, the Oprah magazine.     

Shifra Bronznick is a senior fellow at the NYU Research Center for Leadership in Action at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She has consulted to a broad range of organizations including the Public Education Network, The Fresh Air Fund, The American Indian College Fund, Auburn Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College-JIR, American Jewish World Service, the Medicare Rights Center, National Council of Research on Women, Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Hillel, the Charles H. Revson Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, and the United Jewish Communities.
