JESNA’s priorities for 2010-2011 build on the substantial progress that has been made in improving Jewish education as we lead the next stage of expanding the reach and impact of promising innovations and proven solutions:

1. Creating a culture that is “learner-focused,” and engages families and communities as partners in the educational process.

2. Helping lay and professional leaders in the field by providing them with the necessary resources, knowledge, data, and tools to effectively guide our schools and organizations.

3. Measuring the impact of educational institutions and initiatives and utilizing the data to improve outcomes in all the settings where Jewish learning takes place.

4. Fostering smooth transitions between learning institutions in order to create more accessible, engaging, and integrated Jewish educational systems.

5. Deploying cutting-edge technology to reach more learners more effectively.
